SoTel has warehouse space totaling over 78,000 square feet. Within this space we offer more than thirty brands of business telephones and telecom equipment including Nortel, Avaya, Cisco, Siemens and many more. These are offered at up to 60% off of manufacturer list prices.
SoTel keeps an extensive inventory of unused and refurbished material in stock at all times. Along with phone sets we provide products like modules, circuit cards, cables, accessories and complete systems. All of our “out of service” equipment goes through a grueling visual inspection, testing procedure, and refurbishing process. We are proud to say that both our new and “Like New” equipment carries the same one year advance replacement warranty. We are able to provide this because due to our stringent refurb process, both types of material have approximately the same 1% failure rate.
SoTel Systems puts all used equipment we receive through the following refurb process:
1. It is first subjected to a strict physical inspection to determine the extent of damage and to determine how much work will need to be done to get it in sell-able condition.
2. All equipment is then thoroughly tested to make sure it is operational. If not, it is inspected down to the board circuitry to correct any problems and get it up and running.
3. After the product is made operational it moves on to the aesthetic stage. At this point most telephone housings are replaced with either new or newly painted housings. Many cabinets are cleaned and painted as well. All circuit cards and cables are completely cleaned, bagged and individually boxed.
4. Each refurbished phone comes complete with a new handset, handset cord, line cord and literature packet.
5. Each refurbished item is placed in a new plain brown box. The only labeling on the box shows the items model number, sku and description. There are no SoTel markings anywhere on either the product or box.
6. Any product that has been on the shelf for a long period of time is rechecked prior to shipping to ensure it works properly.
