The claim process is quick and easy:

1. Contact your authorized Sangoma Distributor and purchase a Sangoma Vega Gateway.

2. After completing your purchase, complete the online form to claim your rebate.

For each Vega properly purchased and submitted, Sangoma will rebate you up to $250. For the exact rebate amount for each Vega, please see the chart attached.

Terms and Conditions

• There is no limit on the number of rebate submissions per reseller. While supplies last, no substitutions or rainchecks allowed.

• All rebate request forms must be completed and submitted by June 30, 2012 (12:00 AM EST).
• Rebates will only be issued to the original purchaser name as a cheque in US dollars. Sangoma Technologies reserves the right to reject incomplete submissions.

Finally, here’s one of the best videos I could find that was taken live during the storm. I’d estimate that this person’s home is about one mile of the office. If you watch closely, you can see the windows of the cars across the street get busted.

It’s called the No Cookie Law and here’s one perspective on it and why it’s bad.

This is a pretty good explanation and should be a quick wake-up call for any business that gets website traffic from Europe. In summary, the new law makes any website that uses browser cookies illegal, unless they use intrusive popups, banners or some other method to alert their visitors. Whereas the intent is to protect user privacy, the method required is obnoxious and difficult to implement.

The law requires gaining the user’s consent before utilizing cookies. But most users do not want to stop browsing long enough to read terms or give consent regarding their privacy. It’s an interesting conundrum. We currently have made no changes to our website regarding compliance, but I wanted to share this information with our partners and other business customers. I’ll post more information as things change.
