SoTel Systems has been selected as the North American distributor of Dialogic’s DiaStar Server. Something we don’t talk about often enough is that we support various open source projects. Project DiaStar is an open source project that also includes access to closed-source components from Dialogic® that provide value added functionality.

DiaStar Overview

  • DiaStar™ Server – The DiaStar™ Server (DSS) provides media and signalling services via the Woomera protocol. DSS can deployed as a media gateway, signaling gateway, or media server in conjunction with Asterisk® or any other platform implementing a Woomera Client.
  • chan_woomera – Asterisk Woomera client channel driver.
  • mod_woomera – FreeSWITCH Woomera client channel driver.
