Longtime Telecommunications Companies Merge - SoTel Systems Launches as Tele/Systems and South Supply Join Forces

St. Louis, Jan. 3, 2006 –Tele/Systems and South Supply have merged to form SoTel Systems. The new company will continue to function as a supply company for the telecom and data service industry, while expanding their presence as a supplier to the data service industry with the addition of VOIP and network products. Prior to this arrangement, both companies, which were owned by Kenneth Riney, acted as two separate companies. Riney will hold ownership of the new company and serve as its CEO.

"SoTel Systems is using the combined 25 years of experience from both companies to better serve our clients," said Riney. "Our strengths will continue to be assisting clients with their routine needs as well as growth and expansion requirements. The added benefit to clients will be that they now can have all these needs met under one umbrella."

Acting as a flexible and independent communications provider, SoTel Systems is able to deliver IT decision makers and service providers cost savings and immediate order fulfillment. In addition, SoTel Systems offers multiple solutions for clients' needs, thus optimizing clients' communication capabilities.

SoTel Systems will continue operations from their two locations in St. Louis (Tele-Systems) and Lancaster, South Carolina (South Supply) and will retain the same management.

"By retaining the same talent and outstanding facilities, we feel we will be able to streamline operations, while maintaining strong customer service and quality products," said Jim Goebel, President of SoTel. "We believe these actions position our company for significant growth, while creating jobs and expanding business operations."

SoTel Systems does not anticipate the loss of any jobs through this merger and will expand its portfolio of products. With the addition of Cisco and 3Com products, SoTel Systems will enhance its offering in the VOIP marketplace.
