Ken Riney is the President and founder of SoTel Systems . With over 35 years of telecommunications industry experience, Ken has been a visionary and pioneer in the secondary telecom equipment business. In 1981, Ken started SoTel Systems together with Ruth Riney, his wife and Tim Kramer. Together, they have grown SoTel Systems into America’s leading provider of new and refurbished Telecommunications and Data equipment. Ken’s in-depth knowledge and expertise is why when you call SoTel Systems, you “Call the Ones Who Know!”

Jim Goebel Jr. joined SoTel Systems as General Manager in 1996 and assumed the role of company President in 2005. He guides the direction of Sotel Systems, seeking out strategic opportunities and directing the sales, purchasing, customer service, and product management areas of the business. Jim is a 1992 Graduate of the University of Southern Indiana. An avid golfer, Jim also enjoys spending time with his young family consisting of wife Lisa, daughter Gretchen, and sons Frankie and Vincent. He has served in multiple capacities on the Board of Directors for the NATD, and believes Sotel Systems is positioned better than ever to serve its clients and partners.

Ruth Riney is Co-founder and Vice President of SoTel Systems. She is actively involved in a variety of administrative functions and serves as the company's Human Resources Manager and Social Director in Chief. Whatever the task from inventory control to AR & AP to cleaning phones, Ruth is always there to pitch in! Originally her background was teaching and she taught both kindergarten and first grade. Both Ruth and Ken enjoy bowling, golf and traveling, particularly opportunities to visit their daughters in Denver and San Diego.

Tim Kramer is a behind the scenes person that helps keep the operations of SoTel Systems running smoothly and efficiently. He is responsible for all aspects of finance and administration. In recent years, he has managed the implementation of SoTel Systems state-of-the-art inventory control and billing systems. He has been a key member of the SoTel Systems team since inception and plays a vital role in making SoTel Systems the successful company it is today.
